Akal Optical is a facility fully capable of rendering complete vision care including comprehensive eye exams onsite. We carry a large selection of designer sunglasses, eyeglass frames and contact lenses to cater to all ages and styles.

Company History

Akal Optical, owned by Avninder Singh, has developed a large clientele in the past several years due to the excellent vision care.

Avninder completed his course from Georgian College, Barrie in 1997 with Honours. Avninder joined Lens crafters as a technician in the lab in 1996. He was promoted within a short period of time to an Optician due to his qualification, dedication and knowledge. He continued to work with Lens crafters for the next three years, learning and honing his skills.

After gaining valuable experience, Avninder opened his first store in Rexdale in 1998. Serving multicultural communities for over several years, Avninder saw a great opportunity and need for more locations. With the support of his customers he has now opened Locations across GTA. The goal of the company is to continue serving the community with the best possible customer care, and selection of eye care products supervised by qualified professionals. We strive to be the reputable optical Chain with multiple locations.
